Headgasket will have to be done and of course while i'm at it probably will do water pump and other related items short of rebuilding bottom end. from a cost efficiency standpoint a reman engine from a proven place such as jasper would have been a nice option and simply do a motor swap. Still...

just confirmed with Jasper that they do NOT have 1GR-FE available. according to the person I spoke with, they don't even have it normally. Its not a question of nothing being available right now. Source for quality reman engine looking not so good.

I reached out to them and I am waiting to hear back. I wanted to see if there are other potential options that others may know about.
