I believe it has an alarm and a separate ignition deactivation device of some sort. In the past, when I locked or unlocked I would get the horn beep along with a quieter beep from the alarm itself which makes me think there's 2 things going on with it. Just trying to get as much info out here...

I'm honestly not sure. In the center of the dash I will randomly see the car key alarm icon pop up (but not currently), but there is also a small black device near the hood latch (driver's left knee). It has a red light on front and a spring button on the back. I hope that helps maybe??
