Just got a 22 GX460 and can't seem to find bug deflectors for this thing.
I've found one video for deflector by OMAC, which I guess is a Russian company.
But what's the deal? Lexus owners don't care about rock chips or is everyone doing the PPF thing now?
Thanks man. The halos are morimoto xsb, I was told they're the newer version. They're so bright it's hard to take a picture of. They kind of fade on when power is applied.
The bulbs are heise h11, the parts list calls them he-h11 LEDkit.
Originally I had planned on going with an HID...
Hey guys, just thought I'd share the new mods for my head lights. They're pretty badass. I have the original assemblies so I asked him to clean the outside up, strip and paint the interior, add halo's (which are so bright), and outfit it with LED's.
Its very nice, the Halo's run amber during...
Good pointers on page 4 and 5. If you are going to install a new system there are disconnect points in the lines at check valves. Removal may be easier than install and you may have to get creative with the fronts installation.
I don't know if this helps you man but I really regret putting...
you mentioned that your LCA bolts are frozen, which got me thinking. How long can I expect the 4Runner to be my daily driver?
She has 175k. I haven't really had to do much maintenance. Besides oil changes, both front wheel bearings went bad, and one of the front brake calipers seized. That's...
I'm leaning towards the JBA's just because they're keeping things simple, (no adjustment).
I don't want to confuse the alignment tech with too many adjustments, which apparently is easy to do. Plus, less throngs to move out of adjustment or go wrong on install.
SPC has told me the benefit of...
I'll be installing aftermarket UCA's to get more caster for the truck. One of the unknowns is tire clearance.
I've been warned that after I install the UCA's and get more caster that they may not fit and scrub.
My question is: Does anyone know about how far I fan expect the tire to move...
Thanks for the advice on the caster, had to do some searching on that. I noticed it immediately after the lift but I thought it was because I had a completely new tire on the front, as a spare.
The shop aligned the truck already. I'll have to give them a call. It shows its set at 2.7 and 2.8...
Ronjr, can you expand a bit on what kind of UCA You are talking about? Like manufacture and model, and why ones better than the next?
And is the uca for sure the reason why it drives twitchy?
Thanks for the feed back, I figured that would be the result.
I'm noticing that the steering is less reponsive, at higher speeds. It's kind of hard to describe. Almost like I can move the steering wheel 1-2 inches either way and not much happens but then it all of a sudden pulls left or...
It rides slightly more stable with the wheel spacers installed. I'm still disunity these 5100s, I may just get a new xreas system installed later on.
Another option I'm considering is installing the thicker adco sway bars in the front and rear. I know these thicker sway bars will reduce body...
Okay, I've got most of the mods installed.
Front springs are stock
Rear springs are ARB 2895, which I think is branded an OME
And the bilstien 5100, max length
Tires: Toyo AT 2, 265/70/18
Spider Trax wheel spacers
Before, after lift, then tires
I went with the 5100's
I raised it to the max 2.5 in the front. Because I'm a fan of the forward rake the Rear got new springs that are about 2" taller.
The 5100's were an improvement to my worn out suspension. However, I'm not happy with ride quality. It doesn't ride "sporty", like some...
