check engine, vsc, and atrac lights all on

any ideas? i was told by some that when the check engine light goes on it disables and/or trip the traction control systems and thus those lights. is this most likely just throwing some sort of an computer code? will disconnecting the battery fix it?

added a new "toy"ota to the fleet

also, the only thing i wasn't thrilled w/, unless i ordered it special, is that unless you step up to a trd pkg, all the tacomas come w/steel rims, not alloys...i need to make the steelies and those wimpy looking 245/75/16 tires disappear sooner that later. i know in the accessories book that...

added a new "toy"ota to the fleet

vsc, limited slip, and trac is standard on 09 as well...also is satellite radio. some trucks may need the actually tuner, but the radio and antenna are more or less prewired on almost every truck. the pass seat does fold down completely too which is def cool, like uneek says a backseat rider...

    OME883 springs

as opposed to doing just the springs, i may have slee offroad pre assemble the 883's w/the corresponding ome strut for a simple install on my part. the more i think about it, the more i want to do it.

    OME883 springs

i did see that table on 120. Thank you for the link to cruiseroutfitters as well. I am on the brink of ordering. I just don't want to be disappointed w/only a 1" inch of lift. I'm looking for as level as poss, 1 1/2 to 2" w/minimal rake. You always come through w/the good info Chris.

    OME883 springs

exactly my thought. i noticed that they were normally a 3rd gen spring, but it seems like they will fit the strut based on people's experience in the fj forum. i was just curious on lift height, spring rate, etc.

    OME883 springs

I know, I know...another lift type question... I have read that folks on the FJ forum have used the OME883's to lift the front end of their trucks, roughly 1 1/4 to 1 1/2". Is it safe to assume that based on CJ3flyr's experience with throwing FJ stock springs in the front of his runner and...

Can this In-Dash DVD Player be Grounded?

just ground the parking brake wire on the stereo harness, which allows you to watch only when technically in park or the p. brake is on, to any ground source...it is perfectly safe and does work.
