So I acquired a 1965 Dodge Dart GT this week. A little rough around the edges but it was running when parked five years ago. It needs a tranny rebuild. I was raised with hot rods in the family so I went and talked to my dad and we decided that it wouldn't take much to get it running and rebuilt...

This last weekend I went out and my rig wouldn't start, got it jumped then it wouldn't stay running, replaced the battery and still died then replaced the alternator then it's been fine ever since. Interesting they went out both at the same time. Also the light squealing on warm up went away...

Spotted 6 5th gens 4 of them TRD Pro's sitting next to each other in a parking lot yesterday. By the time I turned around they were gone. Now I'm curious is there is a local 4Runner club.

My rig is not unique that's for sure. There is 5 Salsa Red 4th gens I see on my commute to work everyday.

I live on the Lost Coast. Love it here, born and raised, but to many people have moved here from LA/NY and the population and the attitudes are getting to me.....Looking to move to a less crowded state like Montana.

Some guy parked a Runner identical to mine and I watched out a window as he checked mine out. There is a 3rd gen photobombing my picture just over my windshield.

Installed a CB. Not a professional job but at least no holes were put in my rig.
