Cooper AT/3 C I’ve been very happy with Cooper AT/3 in load range C. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet they are on-road highway when we first mounted them. Great performance off-road and in snow. On my second set of them.

Thank you, but turned out my problem was the headunit.

I've found Cooper AT3's to be excellent on-road, off-road and in snow. I opted for the 265/70/17 C-load version for when we're loaded up with camping equipment and additional sidewall protection off-road. I was just starting to research replacing them as they're now 7 yrs old w/ ~65k miles...

Timely... I just returned from a dealership to look at a new TRD Premium. It was nice, smelled new, etc. Driving our '08 home, I commented to my wife that I didn't think the new one was much of an upgrade, certainly not for the dealer mark-up of $7,000 over sticker (!!!).

Should be smooth. I get my tires rotated and balanced pretty regularly (5 tire rotation to make sure the spare is in good shape). FWIW - steering wheel shaking = front tires need to be rebalanced. Passenger seat shaking = rear tires need to be rebalanced... as told to me by the discount tire...
