I know this thread is dead and I hate revamping old threads but I am in the market for tires and can't pick between 275/70/17s or 255/75/17 (C-rated tires). I wanted to know what your personal experience was/is with both size tires?

Is the wheel spacer needed? And do you have any rubbing issues ? Sorry for all the questions, know this isn’t the thread for thesequestion but I just can’t dial in a width that I want that won’t require much work (trimming/moving fenders & I do not want to chop part of the body). I am stuck...

Sad Post :sadwave: I was actually hoping this thread was lively but I was sadly disappointed.....what can you expect, up here in NoDak everyone loves their Chevy, Dodge, Ford. No love for the 4runner.
