I put fuel stabalizer in my runner before i flew back to korea, i won't be back till another 4.5 months, and my dad starts it weekly and drives maybe a mile at that time. so maybe 20 miles will be driven when i get back, that's why i added it. i believe fuel goes bad within 60 days or something...

A sleeper to me, would maybe have the V6 with a TRD SC or a V8 with a different front grill that didn't have the V8 on it, but with a TRD SC. That would be a sleeper. When i had my mustangs or Lightning, they would have walked all over a v6 or v8 unless they where SC'd. If they were SC'd and...

I got mine off ebay for a good price. but i'm thinking about having them painted same color as my truck before i install them, so it looks like it came like that.

They're 12.6 or 13.3 for the rotors depending on what you have.

I was going to paint mine before i left but when i get back i will, just looks good to me, as long as you do the right color.

I use antisieze on all plugs that I change. I also use dielectric grease inside the coil boot and the connectors. Pretty simple job to do, always best to do yourself so you know how to. When i show people how to do stuff like this, they're amazed on how simple it can be.

Sorry to bring up a super old thread but are the TRD SC's for the 03+ V8 Runners that hard to find? I can only find things that are a few years old, nothing recent. Probably tells me something....hmm. Also saw something about rods snapping but i'm pretty sure pushing another 120+ HP couldnt of...

I wish I could tell you. I bought it and tried to have it installed the weekend before I had to come back to S Korea but the muffler shops where I live believe in having weekends off. It's just sitting there waiting for me till I get back.

Isn't 3in over kill for a 4Runner?. maybe from muffler to tail pipe would be fine. Most muscle cars that have 3inch exhaust is pushing 600+HP. I would think 3in from cat to the rear would kills some TQ and maybe some HP I would probably get a Flowmaster muffler or any of the catbacks they sale.

I would search for recalls before TSB's. Take a TSB to a dealership and they walk away. Recalls though are a different story. I know the 03 had two recalls back in 2003. Not sure about the 04's though.

I thought about painting mine, but it's grown on me now. Looks more rugged looking.

Same here, stock box with a K&N filter works good for me. Price for the gains isn't worth it for the CAI's
