I want to know what muffler out there is good enough to give my 06 4runner, V8 btw, a nice deeper sound w/o it being overdone.

I installed a Borla Catback system on my '04 Sports Edition AWD V8. It's pretty loud when you hammer it, but to me has a nice growl during normal driving and is fine on the interstate. I know some folks have complained about being "droned" out of the cabin from the noise. Admittedly, my wife doesn't like it as she doesn't see the point in having a duel exhaust sounding truck sound in a 'Yota 4Runner....but then again, what does she know!!!

i got a cherrybomb vortex with custom 3inch pipe. started from the cat flange and to the muffler and then out to the side like my old 96 4runner. i also have a v6 4.0 07 sport 4x4
Isn't 3in over kill for a 4Runner?. maybe from muffler to tail pipe would be fine. Most muscle cars that have 3inch exhaust is pushing 600+HP. I would think 3in from cat to the rear would kills some TQ and maybe some HP
