Im in Australia, so I'll have to send them an email otherwise I'll have to wake up at about 2am to make the call :) I think we have a carrier of the Marlin gear here anyway. I'll google and see what local stores come up with Marlin info.... Im not exactly sure where the 2nd cases gear stick...

Yeah its difficult to narrow down the box used in the Australian 4runners. We had over 25 different transfer case and transmission combinations from the late 70s' to current. I'll try and track down some part numbers off my cases and see if Marlin have heard of the model I have.

Ok great. Do you guys have the vacuum (or electrically) activated transfer cases? I have one here but not sure how to wire it up as its from a newer 2004 v6 and my truck is a 1986 model.

Ok thanks, do you happen to know which end the top shift T/C is located? I'd assume the back so the forward shifting collars on the standard T/C can still work with the trans?
