Glad to see I'm not the only one with mushy brakes. As Ras_Thavas mentioned, if I pump them once the second time they feel normal.

They are the Hakkapeliitta 7 SUV on 17" 4R steel rims (265/70R17).

I had studded tires for almost 10 years on my last 2 Subarus. After reading great reviews on the nokian hakkapeliitta, I decided to go for Nokian non studded for the 4R, that was a great decision. Those are awesome tires......and no more noise.

No, no rubbing. Still stock. I was hoping that it would be a quick fix to the crappy look of the LTD wheels. I do like the look of the stock wheels but they are stuck inside the fenders way too much. I'm so undecided on what to do: wider tires with same wheels, different wheels and tires...

Plenty of spacer thread here but can't find nothing on 1/4' thick spacers. Anyone using those, I have them on my trailer and no problems for years pulling the quad. I did not even need longer studs. Can I expect the same result with my LTD or would there be a problem with the hub centric...

What offset did you get on those Tyrant, 12 or -12 ?? Looks good by the way.

Here's Storm, our bullmastiff. Ultimate family dog. Ultimate watchdog. BUT, he is the laziest dog we ever got. We even had to get him a ramp to get his lazy butt in the 4R. The wife says he's just like me...:eyebrows:

We bought our mint 2010 LTD last year for $32k with 42k KM on it. If you are like us, you'll just love it more and more everyday. Good luck with the new family.

Found nothing in search. I tried the DAC for the first time last weekend and it made hell of an odd noise, I could feel the brake being applied but there was kind of a knocking/ratcheting noise from the center diff or from around there. Is this normal ??

My 2010 sounds diesel-ish also, but nothing compared to my 1978 BJ40 on a cold morning...

Not sure what kind of deal you were offered, but as a reference, I paid 32k for my 2010 Limited just this past May with less then 50k kms (30k miles). I waited over 4 months for a good deal. Good luck.
