1/4" wheel spacers

Plenty of spacer thread here but can't find nothing on 1/4' thick spacers.

Anyone using those, I have them on my trailer and no problems for years pulling the quad. I did not even need longer studs.

Can I expect the same result with my LTD or would there be a problem with the hub centric wheels and what about the studs ??

Are you trying to resolve an issue with rubbing? What are your intentions for using the 1/4 spacer?

I'm running a pair from Advanced Auto Parts on the front. It makes it more interesting getting the lugs started with my wheels, but once they are snugged up everything seems fine. I would like to find another set of lug nuts that had the additional 1/4 of thread I'm giving up though. It's done 10,000 miles and been off road a few times since installing them with no problems. I installed mine for clearance between my wheel spokes and brake calipers. Once I get the time to remove a little bit of the casting from my calipers the spacers will be coming off. I only need about 1/16th" and have already confirmed it won't hurt the calipers.

No, no rubbing. Still stock.

I was hoping that it would be a quick fix to the crappy look of the LTD wheels.
I do like the look of the stock wheels but they are stuck inside the fenders way too much.

I'm so undecided on what to do: wider tires with same wheels, different wheels and tires...

For that if you aren't buying wider wheels you want 1.25" Spydertrax spacers. Direct bolt on and come with lugs to put on your hubs. They are very popular with the Toyota crowd. I think normal retail is $125 per pair. Should stick your factory wheels right out there flush with the flares.

Bear in mind the wider you go the better the odds you will have at least a little front fender rub at full lock.

I'm surprised not more people talk about 1/4" wheel spacers. On taller tires, putting on a 1.25-1.5" Spidertraxx reportedly "increases" rubbing problems, especially on the outer fender.

Some of us just want enough clearance to prevent tire rubbing on the UCA.

1/4" (6mm) is pretty much the only size with 108mm bore that I see that would hopefully be hubcentric-ish.

Are there enough turns in the lugs to make 1/4" wheel spacers safe?

I have heard that 4th gen front wheel studs are 40mm but the rears are longer at 44mm, and it might be hard to put on any wheel spacers. Is that still the case with 2014+ models?

I'd like to put 1/4" wheel spacers on if I can get at least 7 turns. Anyone?

Reviving this old thread. I’ve got some 17x8.5 wheels, 0 offset, 4.75 backspace and I’d like to run JBA UCAs with 285 falken AT3Ws. The JBA website seems to say that this combo will rub the UCA, so I’d like to have the option to add 1/4” wheel spacers to help. Will this be an affective solution? Looks like Wheeler’s has a pair for sale, and that’s where I bought my lift from:

1/4" WHEEL SPACER, 6X5.5"

Did you end up using the Wheelers???? same boat im in except 275 wildpeaks and Im going to be CLOSE I think. Ihave them already but before I start the build Im concerned with the Wheelers being lug centric and not seating right with the wheels.
