I don't know if what the salesman told you is correct. The traffic interface doesn't resemble XM's Nav Traffic. I haven't had any connection problems. That is not to say I would go out and buy an Entune ready head unit for the current features but what they currently offer has worked well for...
I like it. One of those nice to have around features..the traffic, Bing, and Pandora apps are pretty cool. The nice thing is Toyota will continue to add more apps and expand functionality with time.

Do you have the Entune app on your phone? On my iPhone 4s I have to connect with the USB cable and have the Entune app open on my iPhone before it will connect.
I wonder if I'll be able to get this fixed under my Toyota extended warranty. I know it says 3/36 on the TSB but the seat tracks and supports are specifically covered under the ext warranty.

Re: Re: How much?
That price seems reasonable Ronsta. I had one put on my wife's Pilot for around the same price and I wish I had put one on the 4Runner when I bought it new! I think I'm eventually going to have the bumper and hood on the Runner repainted at a quality shop and put a clear bra...
I think that this is a big part of the reason for the year-to-year 4Runner sales decline as well.
I just hope that the debut of the FJ doesn't lead to a less trail worthy 5th gen 4Runner (i.e., unibody, indepdent 4 wheel suspension, etc. ).
The 4Runner has had a 6 year life cycle for each of the past 2 generations so odds are pretty darn good it will be 2009 for the 5th gen. I don't think there has been any hard documentation found yet though.

Here is a good thread to read through as it dicusses many of the issues being rehashed in this thread. While it isn't specific to Airstream it is still informative for anyone contemplating towing with a 4Runner.

I received the Sirius install doc from Jesse when I purchased the receiver from him and downloaded the XM install doc at Toyota's Technical Information System (TIS) website. For $10 a day you can download service manual, accessory install, and other doc's.
This has been brought up a couple of times but there has never been a conclusive answer. I would try Scionlife.com and see if they ever found an answer for the harness.

Actually, there is a Scion harness that will work with your radio and connects directly to the 8 or 10 inch BTA 8100 or 10100 Bazooka series (not the 200) since the Scion and stock 4Runner head units have the same pin connector's on the back. The part # is in this thread. I'm thinking about...
Sure, they are listed right above in my second post on this thread.
By the way, I bought the Fit Kit and Receiver from Jesse at Metrotpn.com for $259 total (including shipping) since he was significantly cheaper then my local dealers were willing to go. I bought the Land Cruiser antenna at...
