    2001 Front hub question

Your front diff is an ADD diff so it will connect and disconnect when engaging or disengaging 4WD.

    Another silly tire question...

I'm running Hankook Dynamic RF04 tires LT265/75R16 with an E load rating. The ride is definitely stiffer but also the fact that the tires is very strong gives me a peace of mind when off-roading.

    Turbo kit anyone???

What is the power limit for a stock 3.4 V6 before any internals need to be done?

    conversions

The front of the GX seems narrower and taller than the 4th gen. It could be possible with some customization.

Third Gen 4Runner or 96-98 Landcruiser

I would say the average MPG based on what others get would be around 16-17 mpg on average. For me, with about city/highway 30%/70%, I get around 17.1 mpg.

    Swaying issues after new tires

I haven't checkded yet, but these are Load Range E tires so they take in more air.

    Swaying issues after new tires

Just got the Hankook Dynamic RF04 tires in a LT265/75R16 installed. While the tires were being installed, I also had them tighten my steering as it felt sloppy around city driving. So with the new tires, sloppy steering fixed, and also an alignment, I'm happy as it rides much quieter and no more...

Most Miles on 1 Tank of gas?

Diriving 70% highway and 30% street, and going WOT maybe a few times a week, driving on average of 75 mph on freeway. I get on average 16.2 mpg, and get around 245-260 to a tank. With 100% highway driving at speeds between 65-85 mph, I've gotten as close as 19.7 mpg and gotten almost 310 mile...

    stiff gas pedal/throttle lube

I don't think it "gummed" it up after I lubed it with Silicone Spray. If it was a bad thing to do, it would have been worse or possible to have the throttle stick, but it really improved the pedal feel and is way softer them when it wasn't lubed. I really doubt there is any rust and it won't...

    I shoud have waited for a 99 Limited 4WD w/ E-Locker to become available but instead I purchased my 97 4Runner 4WD w/ E-Locker because it was a deal I couldn't pass on.

    stiff gas pedal/throttle lube

To this day, the gas pedal is still as soft as the first day.

    stiff gas pedal/throttle lube

So I got tired of lubing the throttle cable with WD-40 and have the softness only last 1-2 days. So instead, I purchased some Silicone Lubricant and lubed the throttle cable except for one more thing. Instead of just lubing the cable, I took off the rubber grommet that covers the tip of the...
