Could you elaborate on how changing the c-clip is any different than adding a spring seat spacer? Seems to be doing the same thing physically in that it pre-loads the spring or am I missing something?

Could you post the type of rivnut you used? I grabbed one from ACE hardware that looks like the picture below but it wouldn't fully go through the hole in the frame. Do people drill through the back side of the frame as well? Looking to mount the remote reservoir on 2018 TRD ORP.
