definitely have the alternator checked out had a similar problem with a honda battery light was on and then everything went nutz on the gauge cluster ... good luck

is the mounting the same from a 96 to a 00 ? i want to chrome out my 00 t4r but dont want to buy something that wont fit ...dont have time to do any modifications or drillin...will it bolt up with no probs??

i have driver and passenger side tail lights for sale ...stock oem from a 2000 limited ....50 bucks or trade for chrome emblems for 4runner ...if interested pm me

u may want to check ur heater core

from the looks of ur photo it should have clips that hold it in place try to pry it off as gently as possible ...if not u can tape and paper around it ...good luck

well im confused as well i have the button that is hooked up to wires in the dash and it has ..on the cluster where it would light up...its weird to me why it would even be there at all..

yeah it is hooked up to wires...is it common for there to be a light on the cluster even if the vehicle has no diff lock? and where would i find this actuator ? is it top or bottom mounted

I just got another key fob for my 2000 limited 4runner and i cant seem to get access to any part of the programming...i have one that works fine ...i just wanted to add a second for my wife...i have tried the lock and unlock five times thing for an hour straight and nothing happens....any ideas...

yeah it was me that did the radio but the lights still worked after that was done then about a month later it started...how would i check if there is a short between dimmer and ground? where the switch plugs in at i have 3 wires im guessing the green in ground but i can only see where it has the...

do u know of a way to bypass that switch all together ? is it possible
