I found this wire too while giving my 2002 4Runner sr5 an oil change. Right under the oil filter. Does anyone know the size of the bolt it attaches to on the engine block. Mine was missing. I think the previous mechanic somehow took the bolt off and never replaced it.

This worked! Just to let you know this work around worked for me today! I had blown my 140 amp fuse about a month ago and I could not get to the fuse bolts. I tried this work around and BAM! Car started up like a champ! Thank you for posting!
