Uneek, No. I did not have to cut anything when the cosmetic skid plate was installed. The top bracket of the bull bar also fit perfectly. It is indeed the lower bracket that requires some drilling and rework. End result is that I should have two bolts to secure the bracket to the car. Might...

You did not do the search properly. Do it again. Lots of installation instructions and pictures. And yes it is for cosmetic only.
