A tip for all that havn't installed yet. Put all brackets on but DO NOT tighten all the way. Start by installing the bar on the bottom brackets. Once you have them bolted then you can complete the bolting of the brackets onto the frame. Then work your way to the top. Easy as that. MUCH easier with 2 people. OK, now that its installed, who's going to get the group buy for the aux lights??

I am not sure about other years by on my 03 it bolted right up and as Scott said I first bolted up all the mounts to the frame and left them loose.
I started with the lower mounts only tightening them a little more than half way and then installed the bar. Once the bar was attached to the lower mounts I then tightened the lower mounts on the frame and then to the bar.
Next I installed the upper mounts. I did have to cut the grill for the upper mounts to fit and some pulling and bending to get it all to line up. Once the upper mounts were attached to the bar and tightened I then tightened the upper mounts to the frame.
Then just went over everything to make sure it was all tight

It really only blocks off the very top part of the plate so we will see..

I received my bull bar and now I am trying to figure out how to install the bull bar's bracket with the Toyota skid plate already installed. I think I might need to do some work on the bracket.

I don't know how the toyota skid plate is installed but as you can see the bolts that came with the kit have some length to them so if the bull bar bracket will fit over the skid plate you may be ok.. just might have to bend them a little.
I am guessing that the toyota skid plates bolt where I installed the lower brackets to the frame ??

Yea this bracket thing is going to be a PITA. The top hole is already used with a bolt with thread So the bull bar top of the bull bar bracet above the hole can't fit. I may need to do some re-work to get rid of the nipple on the bracket.

Anyone else place any order recently with Dean and haven't heard anything yet? I called and ordered it yesterday morning and he agreed to email tracking information. I haven't gotten any emails from him nor charged on my credit card. He was really courteous on the phone and I hope it's not just a front. I hope I didn't wait this long for Car-Mic to flake. 
For the blocked plate, it'll probably look tacky, but a simple way to lower it is use some plumbers tape. Since it's already predrilled, just attach the top holes to the bumper and use nuts and bolts on the plate to the tape. Of course doing it cleanly would require fabbing some metal strips with just two holes drilled on each strip. If and when Car-Mic decides to ship my bar, I'm going to leave my plate blocked until I get a fix-it ticket.

considering that everybody who ordered it so far hasn't had a problem with Car-Mic or shipping, I wouldnt worry too much especially when it's just been one day.
