update: disconnected neg terminal from battery for 5 minutes. the system did a full re-boot and i now get a signal.

this may be out of my league.. may be bring it to the dealer to just have them confirm its the antenna. I saw that the GPS icon was not there but wanted to see if it was hidden or just not illuminating correctly. thanks for the help with this!

problem is is that it has not been getting a signal for days and in areas where there is no doubt it should and has in the past.

have an 06 four runner v8 sport edition with the oem nav. Has worked great until the last week. I went in to the "service section" to check for a signal (put car in accessory mode, hold info and turn the headlights on and off 3 times) checked the navigation section and no signal? any suggestions...
