The transmission has been pulled out for about 2 months now but I have not had any spare cash to buy a new clutch. I got a better paying job a few weeks ago so I plan to have the truck back together by the end of the year.

So a lot has happened with this pig over the past year. TG High Steer Barnes 4WD HD front diff cover (busted the OEM one at URE) Burned the clutch at Potts Mountain.

Thanks for the advice. I downloaded a copy of it from this site and I read through the procedure. I can tackle this, I just need the time to do it. I plan on replacing all the vacuum lines because I also know I have a leak in one I cannot for the life of me find (my 22RE isn't exactly quite)...

I've decided not to buy a new head. I bought a whole new to me 22RE instead. Gonna swap the head off the spare motor and put it on mine. Already have plans for the spare motor :flamethrwoer2:

Welp Gold Digger just keeps digging into my wallet. I noticed a leak between the valve cover and the head so I did a compression test. Valves 1,3, and 4 have great compression at 145-150 psi. Valve 2 on the other hand read ~112 psi, a 30 psi difference from the other 3. That reading indicates...

I'm right there with you on nothing but a selectable front locker. I know some people who wheel with a fixed locker in the front and turning on a technical trail did not seem fun.

How big of a pain was it to wire/install in the elocker in your front diff? You have to grind the housing down don't you?
