Scored some 2017 rims Got these off craigslist! Will wait a while since I just put these used tires on mine, and the new rims are 17" instead of my 16". Waiting is the hardest part! Bets on how long until I crack?

My old man and I made a shift knob Pear wood with danish oil. The width was cut down a little, the above sketch was just a starting point. Also, with a 12mm drill bit we were able to just press in the threaded insert without glue, its pretty tight.

ok, thanks for the advice. Sounds like monitoring coolant and then a compression test would be the way to go.

My 2006 had the head gasket replaced by previous owner, but it was actually built in 05 (maybe before they changed the design). When I start it, it does have a few very quick small vibrations here and there which now have me worried. I'll take a look at the coolant and make sure it isn't losing...
