    let's see your lifted 4runners, post a pic

    its not "completely" worthless, i just meant for like rock crawling or mudding. i didnt know that the inflators were down tho. i bet the tires and wheel wells look a lot better once its picked up. i agree with you on the expedition aspect, he metioned that as being what he built it for. i bet...

    New guy with alot of questions on SAS

    they may articulate better. i wouldnt want to go to leaves personally either but most if not all SAS swaps ive seen on 3rd gens and 2nd gens use leaves in the back because you wont be able to get enough lift for rear with that SAS up front. if possible to get enough lift from coils, by all...

    that 2nd gen 4runner is real. its not photoshopped. theres a whole entire build up thread on pirate4x4.com. its pretty cool to look at and think about, but in reality that truck is pretty worthless. look at where the wheels sit compared to the fenders. theres no flex room at all. but still cool...

    Rear Axle Swap GEN2 '90->'93 ????

    2nd gen 4runner never had leaf springs in the rear. that was the change that came with 2nd gens, they had a coil setup in the rear. the front is pretty much the same as the 1st gens, but the rear is completely different.

    New guy with alot of questions on SAS

    there is going to be a lot more involved in a SAS than just buying a new axle and throwing it under the truck. to successfully do a SAS on a 2nd gen 4runner be prepared to spend some money because it wont be cheap. the most effective way to do it would probably be to get a kit from...

    anyone installed a lift kit on 1995 4 runner

    on the 2nd gen 4runner, you can lift it as much as 2 inches without anything else. throw those springs right under and your done. new shocks of course. :D if you want to go bigger however, i would check into Downeyoff-road.com. they sell springs as well as a nice kit. overall you will get about...

    Stupid questioon, how to unlock rear gate?

    you cant miss it man. roll the window down and peek inside, there's a little lever you pull up on on the inside. its about an inch wide. then pull up the handle to drop the gate. :headslap:

    how to crank down torsion bars?

    there isnt really any special technique to it. i raised my bars when i put on my lift. when your done, just make sure to measure from your tire to edge of your wheel well/ fender. make sure those two lengths are equal and youre good to go.

    What Can I Do?

    shoot man, you should be ecstatic that youre getting that good of mileage for a 2nd gen 4runner. im currently getting anywhere from 200-215. consider yourself lucky. its not a honda civic , these trucks are heavy gas hogs, especially with that gas eatting 3.0 engine

    95 4 runner high in front

    hey man, congrats on the new truck. youll love the 2nd gen 4runner. ive already had two and im only 19. theyre great trucks. the sag your referring to happens on all 2nd gen 4runners. they came with weak springs from the factory. there is a simply remedy. you have a choice of springs from...
