I just ran the truck for 1/2 hour and all of the speeds are working, heats blasting out, no smoke & a little bit of smell.:wtf:

Electrical or rad fluid.

I took the blower motor out and it's fine, a little dusty but that's it.

Just to add more...............the smoke was coming out of the engine compartment, right behind the motor, against the firewall. I couldn't tell where it was coming from. I turn off the truck and of course it stops.

Hi everyone, Just wondering if this has ever happened to you? I have a 1995 4runner,auto with air......the past couple of days I turned on the heat(front) and after about 5 mins of driving with the heat on full I start to smell a burning smell. I don't smell it when I turn the heater off...

I've just had the exact same problem and I found a guy to do it for the exact same price as you got in the end. I'll feel much better when this job is done, it's going in tomorrow. Wish me luck.
