These engines work hard for years with regular maintenance. My 2018 TRD Pro 4Runner is similar to yours, having just 15400 miles on it. Hardly used as my 2015 Tundra is my daily driver and has 95K miles.

That would be scary enough to cause a change of underwear. Good to have annual inspections done.

After reading some of the other posts, it very well could be a manufacturer defect. In any case, I’d be more concerned with the new vehicles with the larger glass panels installed in roofs.

Fortunately she wasn’t injured. Could’ve been something external but maybe there was a tiny hairline fracture from a previous contact that eventually shattered from the road vibration.

Might be caused by the last two altoids rattling in the can. Lol. I’d guess it might be a heat shield too. Good luck.

2025 4Runner TRD Pro no manual 4WD shifter It will be interesting how the next gen 4Runner functions in real world conditions off road and see how the after market parts develop. The mark up will likely take it closer in the lower to mid $70s.

Pliable Cargo Liner Maybe try a wide yoga mat. You can find ones up to 10mm thick and can be cut to size. Good luck.
