Yeah I'm on a raptor forum, so a ton of guys run them as they are in the desert and they are great. Honestly I'd recommend duratracs, or toyo M/T's for winter driving.

Yeah I've been browsing the third gen forum. Great info. If I do grab this puppy I'll do the timing belt, rad, an add a teams cooler. Then of course lift, tires, and a bunch of lights an crap.

General grabbers are more for desert/sand applications, not really geared towards a snow or mud tire at all. Sure they look kinda cool, but not the best choice for crawling, mudding, or snow.

Also read up on the "pink milkshake" May be something to consider if it hasn't been addressed already.

Alright, well im new to the forum, as well im looking at a 2000 4Runner, will be my first Toyota, and probably only toyota. Its got 180,000 KMS (i think thats aroiund 105,000 miles) has the 3.4L, automatic, listed at $8,000. hoping to purchase this vehicle, just wanting tips on what to look...
