well yeah the 2.0 tdi motors aren't sporty. but i have to say our touareg tdi with the v6 twin turbo produces a HELL of alot of power out of a 3.0 v6.

my touareg tdi actually has more clearance then a stock 4r and is about the same if u get a 3/2 (in the 4r). and the vw in my opinion has MUCH more power and is MUCH better offraod then the 4r. it is smaller and shorter so it is better offraod and got to places my 4runner couldn't get to without...

yes the higher octane does give you a little bit of boost in hp/torque its only about 5hp/torque difference between 85 and 91

the reason its low is because it was a fleet car. most cars that have been "flagged" as fleet, sell for much lower. i would say just inspect it with a "fine comb" and make sure the engine was taken care of. how many miles did the first owner have it for?

i also ran out of gas and had to get a ride from some one for about 10 miles to get some gas. so i went from full to completely empty oh and i forgot.....its not completely stock my dad put in a fuel regulator in and idk what its set at.
