No reason to avoid either engine. A friend of mine has a V8 and never any issues. When I got my 08 I specifically preferred a v6 because I did not want a timing belt and I also preferred the ability to select 4wd when I want it rather than it being 4wd all the time. Again, its all preference...

I found the connection for the light. They look like simple crimp connectors, so I don't think this was factory installed, but it is an oem spoiler and light. Will I be looking for 12 volts at the connection when the brake is pressed? I'm not sure how to check for ground or even where the ground...

The 3rd brake light in the spoiler is LED - It looks like a complete assembly.

Recently I was carrying items in my runner that scuffed up the airbag cover on the right side of the dash. The dash itself didnt get damaged. Can this cover be easily replaced? Where can I find it? Tom

I actually added the deflector after the brush guard, not for looks though. I was tired of getting stone chips in the hood. Now instead of bugs on the hood I get them on the windshield. :mad:
