yeah this is fairly common...the antenna mast has a plastic/nylon cord that goes down into the motor and it has gears on it, which strip out
head to your local toyota dealer and pick up an antenna mast...then you're gonna wanna turn the radio on with someone lifting on the antenna to get the plactic cord out, then you just feed the new one in while someone turns the radio off...it'll pull the new one right down
It's easy until you get one like mine where the plastic cord broke off in the motor. Then its not so easy
When you get the old one out make sure the nylon cord is the same length as the new one , if the old is shorter then you have a piece broken off down in the motor.
The Cuda is a 1969 (A Body). No Hemi's that year. Mine is a 340.
