Replacing Toytec front coilover coils with stiffer coils. Possible?

No, The TT coilover uses a different type of shock so it won't swap over.

Replacing Toytec front coilover coils with stiffer coils. Possible?

I was in the same spot a few months ago. Had the TT ultimate lift but eventually added a plate bumper, full skids, a winch, and sliders. I jacked the coilovers way up but it rode like crap. I just decided to go with some OME 886 and call it a day. Much happier now with the ride.

Doug Thorley Headers for 4th gen V8, ** 1 day sale.

Did you install the DT sticker on the rear window? This will help considerably with HP and MPG.

Toytec ultimate adjustable coilovers 4th gen -- AZ

I'm looking to sell my Toytec ultimate adjustable coilovers that I just replaced. They have around 70k on them and will more then likely need a rebuild. Everything else is good on them and ice made adjustments a few times with problems. Looking to keep it local for now, but may ship if the buyer...

Shrockworks front bumper and light bar install issue

I tried every which way to fit my light bar under my center hoop. For about a year I ran no front grill to avoid the interference of the light and the grill but it leaves your radiator, and associated a.c. stuff very exposed. My final solution was just cutting the grill where it was hitting. I...

Where are we at on fixing sunroof issues?

It's been about 3 years now since I've used my sunroof in my 03 4runner and I'm wanting to get it fixed. Basically, it broke the same way almost all of them do. I went to open it, one side stopped moving and the glass got cocked. I had to hold the button down to close it, tons of clicking but it...

4th Gen SW PIAA H3 Bulb Length of Life?

Anyone with a SW bumper tried putting LED cubes in there instead of the PIAA? Mine have been burnt out for a while cause like the OP I got tired of buying them yearly.

Anybody using a lowered Rola rack with the extension?

By lowered do you mean the flush mount with the rails? I have both the lowered rack and the full Rola rack with extension. Works perfect, however, I pretty much lost using my sunroof due to the noise that the rack creates.

Fixing the transfer case shift motor leak from within..

Intersted to hear about this. Mine did the same thing. I just put it back in and hoped for the best. After reinstalling I worked up the courage to try my T case lock and it worked as it should. However, I have not had the courage to try my 4 low as I think this is the shift rod that "feel out"...

    Exploded transfer case

Since you have the v6 you dont have the full time 4x4 that the v8's have. That is why it only makes noise when trying to engauge 4x4. Yes the xfer case can be split from the tranny, and that is what you will have to do in order to find the problem. I just dropped mine to fix the actuator leak...

Fixing the transfer case shift motor leak from within..

Nice green wrench in the background :wink2: I am in the process of ordering all the needed seals and was wondering if you could clear up a question for me. Colonial seals website seems to be down, or at least I cant get it to load. Does this Metric Oil Shaft Seal 15 x 23 x 7 15x23x7 15mm x 23mm...

    Identify this part on a 4.7 2003

I would say yes, or they rolled the O-ring while installing it. If you had the dealer do the belt and pump I would take it back. It defiantly should not be leaking with 25k on it. Sent that PDF.

    Identify this part on a 4.7 2003

Yes that is an O-ring seal. Look through any timing belt DIY or the FSM that are available and it will show you where and how to change it. Its been a while since I did my belt, and my memory is a little fuzzy lol
