I use Black Again on my running boards and they clean up really well. If you want to paint, try using that bedliner stuff as it'll give you more traction on the running boards so your shoes don't slip.

SC'd 2wd 265/70/16 tires and I get 16-18 primarily city driving. I'm quite pleased with the mileage I'm getting.

I run the same oil in my 911 turbos so I figure it must be okay for the T4R. With the added stress from the sc, I don't want my oil to get too thin.

Get an inverter cone.

I use OEM Toyota filters and Mobil 1 15w50.

This is what you do. Go to a Sams or Costco near you and buy one of Mechanics sets by Channelock or Stanley. My set has served me well and I take it when going to friend's houses to help. The best part is it has slots/holes for every tool, that way you know if you are missing something.

I just got some running boards for my 01 2wd. I like the look both on and off. Off, the T4R looks much cleaner. On, it keeps all the mud and dirt off the lower door panels and side mirrors. I put them on so it makes getting in a lot easier for my 79 year old mother.

My calipers are painted red.

I get @ 17-17.5 mpg, mostly city on my 01 sc'd T4R.

I searched for months until I found my 01 w/ 42k on it. There is an 02 for sale locally with 57k on it on Craigslist, and they are asking a lot! Just keep looking and be patient.
