    edited my post...i honestly meant driveshaft... i see now, about the driveshaft being able to "lengthen" or "shorten" depending on suspension travel...got it :D

    what kind of lift do you have? whats pushing your wheels out so far? offset? or the lift? i really wanna do a solid axle up front...but i love the look and stance of the front of your runner...

    I have the 4runner for offroad/trail use and my tacoma for rippin up the streets and tracks...so far ive been to one autocross event and one drag event, planning to go do one of each again next month. It is a 2000 Tacoma Single Cab 5-lug, 2.4l and it has a turbo, supra trans, 3.73 gears...

    i read somewhere that 4.88s were good for 35s but that very well may have been for the 5 speeds and i have the autotragic...o well, it has a lil more pep with the smaller tires, for obvious reasons. No complaints here. 38s make it pretty difficult to trail ride anyway. Thanks!

    so far, solid front axle, long travel all around, 3RZ/5 speed swap and tube bumpers front and rear. My current 22RE timing chain tensioner is extremely loose and is a ticking time bomb...so i may have to fix that first and then save up for the swap.
