2011 Trail - 32,000

With 9 years in, the short list is what I don't like: 1 - Cruise control; too touchy. It slams the gas. 2 - Temp, clock, compass display; can't see when sun shines on it 3 - The dreaded 65 mph shake What I do like: Everything else. It's still as solid as the day I bought it.

As said by another, with the exchange that $65 US is about what I paid for the part here - $88 C. Shop labour for 1 hr, plus a few bs shop charges and taxes - $242. They did wash the thing though. By the way, why do you need a block heater in NY? Does it even get below 0 there?

Just thought I'd pass along some info. Yesterday I had the local dealership install a block heater in my '11 4R for $250. On the Toyota Canada website, the block heater is a $480 dealer installed option, included in the standard price in Alberta.

Try a rubber strap around the housing and the socket wrench in the plug. Think of one of those jar lid remover things.
