Finally installed the new ignition wires on my Runner and found that one of the old ones was so corroded on the plug end that it came apart when I pulled the wire. The metal wire end was stuck on the plug and had to be removed with pliers. new wires and the engine runs great!
New to this forum and have a problem with my 1993 V6 4Runner...recently it has started to run rough but not all the time...seems to be the worst when it is rainy or foggy or on a sunny day after it has been driven for 4 miles or so...changed the distributor cap & rotor today and it ran great...
