93 4Runner running rough

New to this forum and have a problem with my 1993 V6 4Runner...recently it has started to run rough but not all the time...seems to be the worst when it is rainy or foggy or on a sunny day after it has been driven for 4 miles or so...changed the distributor cap & rotor today and it ran great until I had driven about 4 miles...suspect that the ignition wires may be getting bad...does any one have an idea on what brand would be best?

NGK or Denso are a good choice.

I ordered Denso wires...will see if this helps...may have more of a problem.

Finally installed the new ignition wires on my Runner and found that one of the old ones was so corroded on the plug end that it came apart when I pulled the wire. The metal wire end was stuck on the plug and had to be removed with pliers. new wires and the engine runs great!
