    Scion Pioneer T1808 install in 06 4Runner

Ok, I installed it a little while ago. Answered mt own question;): , there was one big antenna wire and one small, the scion unit used the big one. One more question though, I have the single knob scion cd player, and was wondering if you can change the "scion" text to read something...

    Scion Pioneer T1808 install in 06 4Runner

I recently bought a scion unit to install in my 05. Isn't there two anteena plugs on the stock toyota unit? Which one did you leave unhooked?

    45K maint.

15k,45k, 75k should also include an EFI service which can help save fuel economy, and clean the injectors, and fuel rail. They un-hook the fuel line, and run the engine on the cleaner. This is not done at 30k intervals. Just thought I'd add that.

    New brake squeal help please....

Not if you do it carefully. I think you can catch the edge of the pad backing and use the right size screw driver and pry against the caliper just right and you won't even touch the rotor. But if you have to touch the rotor just be careful and it will be fine.

    New brake squeal help please....

talking about the fronts right? If so, can't really use a C clamp because it is a fixed, 4 piston caliper.... Take the wheel off, use a screw driver to gently retract the brake pad away from the rotor. Do this with the pads installed in the caliper. If all 4 of the pistons retract easily...

    New brake squeal help please....

Don't assume you have a bad caliper. If the pads are wearing evenly then your calipers are probably fine. Take the wheel off, and try to gently pry the brake pad away from the rotor if it easily retracts then your calipers are fine. Still didn't say what brand the pads are? Also, I'm not...

    Disabling ignition and fuel pump

should be a relay, or EFI fuse to disable fuel. Just unplug and remove the coils. You have to take the plugs out anyway.

    Replacing coolant at 60,000 mi.

The 05 4runner has SLLC(super long life coolant) in it. It is pink, and should have a label under the hood. The bottle has a yellow cap instead of the red cap pictured above. It won't hurt to replace it now, but make sure NOT to add water. The SLLC is already premixed, so make sure you buy...

VSC off light \ TraK and Check Engine light on

You need to get it scanned and see what is going on. It may just need to be calibrated. There is a thread that tells you how to do it, or the dealer can. Sounds like something is wrong with the calibration, or maybe a wheel speed sensor, or signal problem. Since you don't have a check engine...
