Gonna be Supercharging my 1996 T100 3.4L 4WD M/T
I ended up having some dumb ass slamming into my previous t4r :(
Anyways I know what most are going to say about supercharging my "96" T100 that the ECU's on the 96 T100's not the 96 4Runners just wont work. Well I understand and I've lucked out...
I've always used nothing but Amsoil Synthetics! I run their 0w30 Signature Series Oil and an Amsoil EaO Series Oil filter. With that combo you can safely go 1 year or 25,000 miles on an oil and filter service. However with most Toyota engines being prone to sludge build up... Amsoil recommends...
Ok so I've recently been noticing some intermittent ticking/clicking valve train noise on the drivers side that is not your ordinary valve train noise. It's really strange... it comes and goes. Also seems to fade if not disappear if I manually idle it up 500-1000 rpms. I know these 3.4L engines...

Which do you think would be a better plug to go with? I am currently...

In my personal opinion.... Amsoil Synthetics is the only way to go! Not just their Motor oil, all of Amsoil's lubricants and products are simply top notch!
Scangauge2
So I hooked my Scangauge2 that I've had for about 10 years to my 96 T4R LTD.
I was wondering if anyone knows what the x-gauge commands/codes are for trans temp, a/f ratio and any other ones that I can program to display?
Thanks in advance!
