Another quick question when I put the 4Runner on the “ON” position should I be able to hear the fuel pump priming or am I the only one that doesn’t hear anything I only hear like couple clicks from the engine bay please lmk

Quick update on the runner. After work today I tested each coil pack with multimeter all of them seem to be good. Spark plugs and wires are less than a year old so not too sure if they need changing but if all else fails I’ll change them. Checked tps sensor with multimeter everything is good...

Yes I was gonna change fuel filter first since that was the cheaper thing to do and if that still doesn’t fix it then probably try to change the fuel pump

I don’t think so I change crank shaft position sensor yesterday but doesn’t seem to be the problem. After changing I was able to drive around the block for a while but then when I came back home to park I was letting it idle and then it starts to struggle to stay on but it would catch it self...

Not too sure when fuel filter was last changed I got this 4runner from a friend little over a year ago and I haven’t changed fuel filter. But if it was something with fuel wouldn’t it sputter or misfire before dying or vibrate the car?

Did u end up finding out what the problem was? Was it the plug for the fuel pump? Because my 4runner it starts up when it’s cold then it’ll run for a bit and then it’ll die then when I start it up again it cranks but won’t turn over. Wait a little longer to cool down then it will start but then...
