I am at 79000 miles and the only thing that I have had to replace was my transmission. Other than having to keep up with my maintenance and such. I know that in another 100000 miles it will still be running strong, 4r4l

When your tires are out of balance depending on how bad it will cause a vibration, making for a rough ride. Along with the drive shaft, if I don't grease mine after a few thousand miles I get a weird vibration throughout the entire 4r. And for it riding like a car ii guess that depends on what...

When I first got my 4r it drove just like a car if not better. I would recommend getting your tires balanced and grease your drive shaft(s) Alignment would be a good start after you have the tires balanced and the shafts lubed.

375 is still good... Check your air filter though make sure that it is still clean and looking good. Also how many miles do you have on it?? Could need new plugs. I get about 300 miles a tank. :) So 375 would be a blessing!

keep us posted. If it is not covered, which it should be, my best guess for cost would be a ~3-400 parts and labor. I know our breaking system is quite complex so its a shot in the dark. Good luck man!

the VSS wire is behind the glovbox. If I recall it is the purple wire with a black stripe. Not 100% though, has been 6 months since I did my install. I can get some pics later though if you want.
