This is because you no longer have power to the amp. Your headunit is the only power source now and it only has 4 channels which power the door speakers

Ive done this to my 4runner, yes you must run the harness from the oem amp harness socket in the rear to the headunit in the front. Its really not that bad to install but keep in mind that you will lose the sound from your sub if you go this route

Does anyone know if these are interchangeable? I see that Procomp makes a UCA for the 07+ FJ/05+ Tacoma, wondering if anyone knows if they would work on a 4Runner.

The rods will always be the same, they will just be put on the piston with the bearing tang towards the inside or outside of the engine, depending on if there is an oil hole. And no, you don't need to balance them

Toe is 0.02 on both What's the cheapest way to get adjustable caster? Are there adjustable ball joints that can be pressed into the uca?

One wheel is 1.23, and one is 1.32 degrees. Is that enough to give those symptoms?
