    1994 V6 3.0 catalytic converter: comparable years/models?

So about an hour ago I found out my cat got stolen off my 4Runner within a four hour window right in front of my house, no less. This puts me in a bit of a jam for a couple reasons: Tomorrow is my only day off this week, I'll be leaving straight from work on Friday on a hundred mile trip to do...

    1995 4Runner Trans Question

I can only answer number two for you. It states in the owners manual that it will not engage over drive until the engine reaches operating temperature. Does she have further to go on surface streets before hitting the freeway on the way home from work? I'm not sure of the why behind this...

Winter Runners - A compilation of prominent powder princesses

Had to head up into the mountains for some work today, I'll be here for about a week. Only about 2-4 inches, but this was my first time driving in snow. Gotta say, the 4runner took it like nothing.

    Goodbye

The Long Count calendar is cycling, just like it has thirteen times before, we're just moving into a new "b'ak'tun" (which is a collection of 144,000 days). Happens every 395 years. But that's not to say we should turn down an excuse for an epic party!

94 runner couple of little issues

I've got the same truck, it makes the same noise when locked left or right, it's pretty common with older vehicles, I had a 95 pathfinder that did the same thing. Just try not to lock it out.

    Any thought's?

Aye. I just fixed my idler arm a couple weeks ago by replacing the bushings. I followed this guide: http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/maintenance/idler/ It was fairly easy, just make sure you get the right part numbers. It took me four hours of going through all the stages of grief to figure out...

    Radiator leaking, worth fixing?

I took it to a radiator shop that does free diagnostics today and they confirmed that this is a csf radiator. They also said the petcock broke off and needs to be replaced. Then they quoted me $250 for that with a fluid flush and replace. So naturally, after an outrageous quote like that I...

    Radiator leaking, worth fixing?

Thanks for the replies everyone! I suppose I should mention that the rest of the radiator looks like it's in really good shape, it's just this one area that looks bad. It's very clean. The fan and fan shroud also looks really good, so I have a sneaking suspicion that the PO might have changed...

    Radiator leaking, worth fixing?

Hi, everyone, I've been lurking on here since I got my 4runner back in August. It's a 1994 SR5 V6 3.0L with only one PO. She's got just shy of 180k on her. I'd consider myself pretty much a novice with a wrench. I can follow instructions okay, but if something goes wrong I'm not that great at...
