People around here are huge fans of the coastal offroad armour. Its a weld together kit but Im sure you could get a fabricator to weld it up for you. It has a lot of well thought out features like and oil drain hole and reinforcing ribs.

Unfortunately, I don't think I have the tools or space needed to pull the body. Looking for something I can do with a jack and some pretty basic tools.
Was planning on getting all four corners supported on jack stands and working with that setup!
Typically, the rear and front driveshafts can spin at different speeds. This is preferable for on road driving where grip is high. When the front and rear driveshafts spin at the same speed you can still drive but may get a build up of torsional stress in the driveshaft when turning (Wind up)...
Hello Everybody,
I have a few weeks off in coming months and was hoping on doing some preventative maintenance on my truck (03 LTD V8). Currently, the frame has a decent amount of rust and I am hoping to treat it before it becomes a problem. I have found a few threads on this but most of them...
I too have the Sony XAV-AX1000. Very easy to wire up and has a backup camera. I like the physical volume control and USB input. Much nicer than having to wire in the a separate USB port. I use it almost solely for Apple Carplay.
I run 5100's with Moog springs on the front of my 03 V8. It did much better over potholes and bad roads then my previous setup. They perform perfectly for on roads conditions and I have no complaints. A more complex system would be worth looking into if you are seriously into off-roading.
Its back ...
My problem is back so I think I may have to do a leak check around the rad. Time for a fun weekend.
If any 4runner gurus have any other idea what it could be. Please feel free to chime in!
IMO this rust does not look bad. I would seriously consider it for a low price. Rust sucks to deal with but its nothing some penetrating oil cannot fix. Then again I am from canada where this would be considered pretty clean.
I do not see any reason why it would cause an issue. Should work fine but look around the forum if anybody has run that combo. If you are concerned you can always stick with bilstein products and contact them to ensure fitment. I know bilstein makes some heavy duty coils.
