Thanks, that's not nearly as much as I thought it would be. My XJ that I sold to pick up the runner had 35s with maybe an inch and a half hanging out so this is too much of a delta for me.
2.5/1.5. Me and a couple buddies knocked it out in 2 hrs. Thought about 275/70s but my impression was that everyone had some sort of rubbing and I want to keep my mpgs as best I can. Open to opinions on that now too since the wheels are going back.
Good to know, much appreciated. This is the first time in 6+ sets of tires that I've had any issues with them. Now the fight to make them swap the wheels out.
I'm open to any input on this one. With a newborn and very busy 4yr old at home I don't have nearly enough time to search endlessly on this one. I found some calculators that show the -6mm offset would be nearly 2" out further than stock. That seems like it might be ridiculous and maybe be too...
Thanks to many hours of searching this site I picked up a low mileage 06 sport about 5 weeks ago and just put a daystar kit in it friday and some 265/70-17 duratracs on yesterday. Super happy with everything but the offset on the new wheels. I ended up with +25mm as that's what the discount guy...
