ill soon check to see if any of the wires are grounding out,if any of them came lose or somthing, but the cd changer were spliced out from the main power to the old stereo so i cut them off and taped it up thanks for the help guys

spliced the wires, didnt think to buy the harness until i was already installing, the new head unit didnt use all of the wires the stock one used tho

the battery is fairly new, less then a year old. I tied up all the lose wires with electrical tape but i will probly double check that soon The deck does turn off, but has a feature when you leave it beeps at you if you leave the faceplate on after u leave. It only beeps 3 or so times then stops
