I still haven't figured this out. I picked up an angle finder and will check the front and rear pinion angles. Maybe the front diff mounts got tweaked when my center diff locked during a turn on pavement.

I've never rebuilt or replaced a 3rd Gen motor. However, due to your tight timeline I think a rebuilt/ready to drop in engine would be the smarter choice. You will still have to swap all the accessories.

I've looked at the exhaust and it isn't touching anything besides hangers all the way from the headers to the tailpipe. I guess I could play with the torque of the bolts to see if it changes anything. It's driving me crazy!

I think you will be fine. 166 ft lbs is a lot of torque. Most wheels are held on by 65-125 and they stay on just fine.
