I am returning the cover to the seller since he cannot find the pins. He is going to send me a different intact cargo cover. I asked him to send the replacement to me without removing the rounded endcaps. Hoping he packs it well.
Terrific tutorial. I was having problems trying to figure out why the cover I ordered online wouldn't retract. After watching your tutorial I realized that the cover sent to me was missing the "pins". Thank you.
Thanks Surf Runner. After watching the tutorial I realize that the pins to attach the springs to the cargo cover rod were not included in the cover sent to me.
Just received a used cargo cover for my 2001 but can't figure out why it does not retract back after pulling the cover out. To roll the cover back I have to unscrew the endcaps and manually roll the cover around the roller.
Does anyone know how to get the cover to retract back on its own?
