TRD Rim Damage from Dealer!! Ugh!!

Yeah, the pic with all the circles is the tire they had to remove from the rim to repair a slow leak. It's obvious they just tossed it around and placed it on a metal/hard surface with no care at all to protect the wheel. Disappointing to say the least! +1 on the tire guy!!

TRD Rim Damage from Dealer!! Ugh!!

Thanks Antman. They even wrote on my receipt to "repair" them on my next visit. I guess if it gets to that I have to determine whether a lawyer and the time is worth the price of the rims. thebwlife ... I wouldn't say it's a continuous problem and it's not that easy for me to rotate the...

TRD Rim Damage from Dealer!! Ugh!!

I purchased my 2012 4Runner from Antwerpen Toyota in MD and for the SECOND time in a little over a year they have damaged my rims during a service appointment. Last time they replaced them all after completely trashing them while installing my Duratracs. Ever since then, I make the service...

    Anyone using this ProClip?

Hey Keith ... I have the Garmin 3597 5" unit. It's expensive, but has great features, higher resolution and really good voice command performance plus a great magnetic mount that makes it easy to take put on/take off. Besides the wallet hit, very pleased with it so far. My older model finally...

    Anyone using this ProClip?

Thanks man!! Dang ... I was hoping it could somehow be done without removing the head unit. It wouldn't be pretty if I attempted that! Guess I'll live with it through the door!

    Anyone using this ProClip?

Here's a picture ... but basically it clips to the upper and lower lips in front of the vent. As you can see ... plenty of room to still keep the vent functional. There are two thin strips of double sided tape that keep it solid and avoids any scratching. You sort of just pinch it into place...

    Anyone using this ProClip?

and for those that might be curious about the Pro Clip, here's what it looks like from my vantage point while driving. I can still see all the readouts, it doesn't interfere at all with the steering wheel, and it limits any distraction by being at very close reach and view. Great set up and...

    Anyone using this ProClip?

Hey Sundog ... I just bought the same Pro Clip setup and would like to run it through the vent and into the glovebox as well for a little cleaner look instead of through the glovebox door (see pic). I know it's too late for pictures, but can you walk me through how you did it so I know where to...

Safelite Windshield Chip ... ahem ... repair?

Thanks eddiebx ... that commercial might help me out. As you can see, it's far from "almost invisible" as they claim.

Safelite Windshield Chip ... ahem ... repair?

The pictures are a little deceiving as they are blown up a bit so just to clarify ... the original chip was the size of a dime. The large circle and lines you see around the center are actually the resin. I'll probably call the insurance company Monday and send them the pictures anyway...

Safelite Windshield Chip ... ahem ... repair?

Okay folks, guess I've lived a charmed life and never had to deal with a stone chip repair on my windshield and need your expertise and feedback. I got one on a trip back from Michigan and called my insurance company to see if they covered it. They waived the deductible and made the...
