Anyone using this ProClip?

Hey Sundog ... I just bought the same Pro Clip setup and would like to run it through the vent and into the glovebox as well for a little cleaner look instead of through the glovebox door (see pic). I know it's too late for pictures, but can you walk me through how you did it so I know where to start? Thanks

Airforce1, Really nice looking. What model is the GPS? I really like how slim it is. Also, what MFG is your stubby antenna? How is the reception with the stubby? I changed mine 2 x's and reception is still bad.
Thanks, Keith

Hey Keith ... I have the Garmin 3597 5" unit. It's expensive, but has great features, higher resolution and really good voice command performance plus a great magnetic mount that makes it easy to take put on/take off. Besides the wallet hit, very pleased with it so far. My older model finally got too outdated and didn't come with lifetime map updates like they do now so decided to take the plunge with their flagship model.

The Antenna is from antennax.com. It's not a "stubby" antenna per se, but better than the damn standard "whip" antenna! I went with the 13" euro style. Here is the link. I've had it for about a year now and no complaints on the reception at all.

Thanks Airforce1. I thought that was the model. I was looking at the 2597, a little cheaper. I will also try the antenna. Thanks again, Keith

Quick question , how slow or fast is the processor? I have the Garmin 3790 and search results are painfully slow.
