No way in hell I feel comfortable removing the number but I did spend a lot of time taping prior to applying the plastidip. In a way I like the plastidip as I see it protecting from rock chips. Thanks

Blacked out all the chrome, removed the pinstripes, made use of the original 20’ rims by plastidipping them. I think the only thing I’d like to add next would be a gobi ladder.

Ok final verdict use lacquer. It was very simple. Place it on a rag and wipe it but have a follow up rag to get the excess and do it in a circular motion. I washed it right after through the car wash to get any extra that may have been left on it. Highly recommend.

I have been looking for a thread like this as well. I have stripes on mine that is painted (yes it is painted) as well. I'm looking to purchase a CAI. Having a tough time choosing between S&B and AFE momentum. Any help towards which one is better as far as gains? S&B is ~$100 cheaper overall. I will also likely purchase the AFE Throttle Body Spacer. Looking for suggestions/help choosing which one. Thanks
