    OME suspension

You can find lots of photos of my 4Runner here: http://forum.ih8mud.com/79-95-toyota-truck-tech/240690-rotm-wardamneagles-85-4runner.html 4x4 Connection's website is here: http://www.4x4connection.com/ They have the lift kits and the ARB front bumpers. There are lots of places that sell...

    OME suspension

Not a problem with bringing the thread back up. It shows that you know how to search which is something to be admired. IFS is independent front suspension. It means that you don't have a straight front axle with leaf springs (unless your 4Runner has been modified with a straight-axle swap)...

    OME suspension

I bought mine at 4x4 Connection. I went with the heavy fronts and medium rears and it sits very level. I would recommend the medium rears for yours but I'm not sure what you do up front with the IFS. Thanks for the advice but the threads over 2 years old. LOL

So just fiberglass and/or bondo the holes until you can get the panels.

New SR5 - Some Pointers Please

Sounds about right price wise. My one and only criteria would be rust, or rather, lack thereof. Check everywhere. If you don't have to deal with rust then you can handle everything else. I hate rust! I even built my barbeque grill out of aluminum and stainless.

Opinions about Gen1's and daily life

Keep the Landcruiser. You will get better mileage with the 4Runner but only slightly. I have both an 85 4Runner and a 97 Land Cruiser (and a 100 series daily driver). After driving your Land Cruiser you will kick yourself if you sell it and buy a Gen1 4Runner.

    Best Repair Manual?

The Toyota 1986 4Runner and truck FSM. As far as I'm concerned it's the only repair manual. You can download copies but if you want a paper copy you will have to get it off ebay (or someplace similar). They do come up every now and again.

    some 22re power questions

Actually his 86 would fall into the 112 HP category but for some reason I remember the number to be 114. Anyway, after so many miles, you are probably going to be doing good to be getting 90 out of it.

    Bull bar for '94

No. It's because they are attached only at the bottom of the frame and have too much cantilevered upward from that pivot point. Refer back to your first photo. What do you think will happen if you hit something with that brush guard? The attachment point will bend or break and the entire...

    Bull bar for '94

Yuri, Can't help you with brand but maybe with some info and advice. We don't call those Bull Bars. They are generally called brush guards. They are actually worse for the vehicle in a collision which is why many people call them "damage multipliers". If you want a bull bar, buy an ARB or...

    Timing chain replacement question

Unfortunately I am not an expert on these engines so cannot say with absoute certainty. If it were me then I would probably replace the water pump. The oil pump also comes to mind but I don't think they tend to go bad like water pumps. What I can advise, from everything that I have heard...

    Timing chain replacement question

I don't really know what else you might want to do while you are in there. I think going with the metal guides is a good idea. I have a DOA Racing engine and of course it came with their chain and guides installed. Engnbldr.com is another good source for parts as is LC Engineering. Of course...
